The higher education institutions of the state of Hesse award doctoral scholarships to particularly qualified junior scholars and researchers who wish to conduct doctoral research at a Hessian higher education institution. Applications must be submitted directly to the selected higher education institutions, which will also provide detailed information on the application procedure.
