The DAAD announces a doctoral programme with the aim of funding doctoral projects in the fields of engineering sciences, IT, economics, media and communication sciences and environmental sciences.
You'd like to study in Germany? A great idea! We look forward to welcoming you! You're not yet sure which university to apply to? You're interested in doing a PhD and are looking for an appropriate programme? Are you wondering how to finance your stay, or how foreign students live in Germany and how they're supervised? We're happy to help.
German universities, like most universities around the world, maintain a broad network of international partnerships. The DAAD supports such international partnerships through a number of schemes that aim to foster cooperation among higher education institutions.
In the eyes of the DAAD, the end of a funding period marks the beginning of a long-standing relationship with us. We aim to stay in touch with our alumni as well as help you get to know one another through a serious of programmes and activities. We also support you in setting up regional DAAD alumni clubs and other forms of networking opportunities.
